‘Water is sacred’: ten visual artists reflect on the human right to water

Ten years ago, the United Nations declared access to clean water and sanitation a human right. On the anniversary of this declaration, charity organisation Water Aid has commissioned ten visual artists to visualize the importance of clean water in people’s lives. Globally, 1 in 10 people does not have access to clean water close to home and 1 in 4 people has no access to sanitation.

The images are displayed in in an article from The Guardian.
