Albert Heijn packaging campaign again

Like previous years, there was once again a collection campaign for Mpilo Foundation.
During the month of December 2024, it was possible to donate deposit vouchers at the Albert Heijn on the Van Wevelinckhovenplein in Hardenberg. The proceeds will be used to purchase solar kits.

For remote villages in Zimbabwe, lighting is vital. Often paraffin is used as fuel for lamps, but this is expensive and unsafe. A great solution for many families is a solar kit: a package containing a solar panel, a battery, lights and other necessities. A kit allows villagers to charge mobile phones and to light up the village at night. This keeps wild animals at bay, so they no longer pose a threat.

A kit costs €100. Will you help bring light and safety to Zimbabwe? Of course, you can also donate

directly via the donation page.

On 6 January 2025, Mr. Patrick Scherpenkate (Albert Heijn) was able to hand over the money to Albert Nijland (of Mpilo Foundation).

The total amount of the deposit voucher campaign is €244.15.

The proceeds will be used to purchase solar kits.
