On May 10th 2022, Mpilo Foundation visited Lions Hardenberg, a service club that aims to help our fellow men. They support people and public benefit organisations with the proceeds of their actions.

“This evening, Albert & Ellen Nijland visited us. We were given an engaging presentation, showcasing Mpilo Foundation’s projects, focusing on realising boreholes and solar energy (mostly for schools) in Zimbabwe. It included an interactive slideshow with questions raising awareness. We, as Lions Hardenberg, raised a contribution of €1000,-. The thought of providing someone in Zimbawbe with clean water for only €10,- makes us very happy. We trust that our donation will be put to good use. Hats off to the Foundation and the people involved.”

Mpilo Foundation is grateful to Lions Hardenberg for this generous donation, which can provide 100 people with access to clean water. We will keep you posted on how the amount will be spend exactly.
